Our history dates all the way back to Feburary 1923 when Harper Motors first opened in Hickory, NC.  Then in May 1970, Mr. Bill Armstrong purchased Harper Motors and ARMSTRONG FORD, INC. was born.  Mr. Armstrong then built the building which we are currently in during the spring of 1972 (long before I-40 was built).  After 37 years of business in Hickory, Armstrong Ford is the #1 Ford dealership in the Western Piedmont area.
